won the title of
The Voice
Season 3 held yesterday night (May 4). Sumit beat Simran Choudhary, Hargun Kaur and Adnan Ahmad in the finale to take home the winning trophy and prize money of Rs 25 lakh.
Host and TV actress Divyanka Tripathi shared a series of pictures from the grand finale night and also winner of the show, Sumit.
The singing reality show, had AR Rahman as the super judge and Adnan Sami, Armaan Malik,
Harshdeep Kaur and Kanika Kapoor were the coaches. With Rahman being unwell,
Asha Bhosle was introduced as the super judge for the final episode.
Due to personal commitments, host Divyanka had to bid adieu to the show for the last few episodes. The makers of the show had to rope in actor Karan Wahi as the host. Karan had told IANS, “I am very excited to be part of this show. I love anchoring and shooting for these episodes was too much of fun. The contestants are talented and listening to them live was an absolute honour,"
However, Divyanka did shoot for the finale episode. She looked stunning in a black off-shoulder ruffled gown. The Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actress shared pictures with the legendary singer Asha Bhosle and wrote, “A woman I would like to grow up to be like... #FullOfLife #TalentUnlimited.”
The Voice Season 3 kick-started its journey in February this year.
