#Rewind2020: Shooting indoors for daily soaps to working out at home; trends that TV celebs got hooked on to during lockdown

A major part of the year 2020 was spent under the lockdown, and TV celebs got hooked on to a lot of trends that started on social media to keep themselves occupied and entertained. From shooting indoors to creating music videos, baking, gardening, meditating, exercising at home, let's take a look at what all trends were created and followed by our favourite TV actors:

2/11

Shooting indoors for daily soaps

The shooting of the daily soaps were stopped but after three months of the lockdown, shows started operating abiding all the rules and regulations cited by their authorised body Cine & TV Artists Association (CINTAA). Erica Fernandes shot for her portions for Kasautii Zindagii Kay from her home and sent it to the team. Senior citizens and kids were made a part of the television shows through video calls. Recording music single indoors

Many television actors like Ravi Dubey, Sargun Mehta, Mika Singh, Chahatt Khanna shot for music videos from their home, and that created a stir on social media. The actors explored the director within them through this move. Ravi and Sarun's song, Toxic was appreciated by the audience. (Photo: Instagram)

Recording funny videos

Vatsal Seth and Ishita Dutta were one such couple, who entertained everyone through their funny videos on Kokilaben's dialogues from Saath Nibhaana Saathiya. They would catch the ongoing trend and create videos on it. Urvashi Dholakia and a few more celebs like Sunil Grover and Kapil Sharma also kept tickling the funny bones of their fans through their videos. (Photo: Instagram)

Wearing matching masks

This became a trend as many celebs also got married during the lockdown, keeping all the regulations in mind, and wore matching masks with their outfits. Shraddha Arya, Dipika Kakar, Rashami Desai, and many others adopted this new normal and made masks a fashion style too. (Photo: Instagram)

Gardening

Digangana Suryavanshi, Divyanka Tripathi and many others resorted to gardening to soothe themselves. The Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actress had shared several pictures of herself of the indoor and outdoor garden area. (Photo: Instagram)

Cooking/Baking

There's a long list of television actors, who spent their time experimenting in the kitchen, and donned the hat of a chef. Hina Khan, Divyanka Tripathi, Dipika Kakar, Rubina Dilaik, they all cooked and baked unique food and bakery items. (Photo: Instagram)

Turning into hairstylist

Celebrities like Kanchi Kaul, Ishita Dutta, Hina Khan, Divyanka Tripathi cut their respective partner's hair at home, and gave stylish hair cuts to their kids and cousins. (Photo: Instagram)

Working out at home

Actors such as Kavita Kaushik, Gauahar Khan, Hina, Shefali Jariwala, Gurmeet Choudhary and many others recorded their workout videos and shared on social media for their fans to inspire them to stay fit while staying indoors. (Photo: Instagram)

Painting/Sketching

Hina Khan created sketches of how India was locked due to the virus, and also showed the plight of the women in our country. Pooja Gor, on the other hand, created beautiful paintings and also paid a tribute to the late Sushant Singh Rajput through a galaxy painting. (Photo: Instagram)

Going live on Instagram/Zoom video meetings

Going digital was the only way through which the celebs could stay in touch with their fans. Therefore, they started going live on social media and answering fan questions. Because nobody could step out, the actors also would speak to their friends over video calls, and share a screenshot of the same on their social media. The media too, got connected with the actors through Instagram live and Zoom calls. These things have been adapted as the new normal and everyone's started to live with it. (Photo: Instagram)
