Shivshakti goes negative

Shivshakti Sachdev is back on the tube after a break and this time she has decided to go negative!
Shivshakti has been roped in a play and she would be playing the role of ‘Lalli’ in Zee TV’s upcoming primetime show ‘Afsar Bitiya’. She will be essaying the role of the lead Krishna’s (Mitali Nag) evil cousin sister.
Speaking on the same Shivshakti says, “It’s a challenge to enact different characters and it tests an actor’s versatility. I do not want to get stereotyped. I love acting and experimenting with different kinds of characters. It gives me a high which is very essential for any actor.”
Shivshakti’s character in the show is that of a highly pampered and spoiled child who is always throwing tantrums. She is extremely stubborn and always competing with her cousin Krishna because of her father’s wealth and influence she always has an easy way out in life. She can go to any heights to fulfill her wants and desires.
The show is produced by Rakesh Paswan’s ‘ Village Boy Production’ had actresses Rucha Gujarati and Primvada Kant vying for this particular role but Shivshakti was selected. She will be a troublemaker in the life of Krishna, essayed by Mitali Nag.
It will be interesting to see how the cute faced Shivshakti will play a grey character of Lalli.
