Sasural Simar Ka fame Manish Raisinghan got married to his Swabhiman co-star and longtime girlfriend Sangeita Chauhaan today (June 30) at a Gurudwara in Juhu. A look at their pictures straight from the wedding location.

Lockdown wedding look of Manish and Sangeita

The TV couple entered the wedding venue fully decked up in their wedding attire but didn’t forget to wear masks. Sangeita wore a bright pink Patiala suit and Manish wore a pink and white kurta pyajama and a heavily brocade jacket in purple. Manish and Sangeita wore matching masks which perfectly blended with their outfits.

Welcoming his dulhaniya in SRK style

So what it is a lockdown wedding with minimum guests. Manish decided to give his dulhan a grand welcome ala SRK style. Super romantic and cute, isn’t it?

The couple decided to tie the knot in a Gurudwara and will later throw a party for friends and family once the situation is better.

Guests at their lockdown wedding

The wedding was attended by Manish’s brother-in-law and Sangeita’s brother. However, over past two days they had a sangeet and mehendi ceremony with family and friends’ attendance over video calls.

Deciding to get married during lockdown

Speaking to BT, Manish earlier said, “Recently my dad told me that I should get married and I said, ' Theek hai, kar lete hain'. He thought I was joking, but I wasn't. I then called up Sangeita and told her that we need to speak to her parents about it. As expected, she was quite shocked and replied, 'Are you out of your mind?' But she is used to me being like this. That day our parents met via video call and everything was fixed.”

Sangeita’s shocking reaction

The 'Ek Shringaar-Swabhiman' co-actors met on the sets of the show and love bloomed. The couple kept their relationship under wraps and announced the news with their wedding date. After learning Manish’s wedding proposal, Sangeita had earlier said, “The marriage proposal came as a surprise at this time. I was shocked as it was all so sudden, but that's Manish for you.”
