Sana Makbul to make a comeback with a women-centric web series; says, “When life forced me to slow down, I realized how often women put themselves last”
Actress Sana Makbul is making her way back to the screen with a new women-centric web series, marking a strong comeback after a brief break from work.
Her absence from the screen had caused speculation among fans and in the industry; however, the reason was far more personal. Sana had stepped back to focus on her health and recovery. During this time, the actress was also preparing herself for a project that truly matched her vision as an actor.
Talking about her journey, Sana shared, “When life forced me to slow down, I realized how often women put themselves- their dreams, their health, their happiness- last. That’s why returning with a women-oriented story feels so right. It’s my way of saying we all deserve second chances, and we all deserve to be heard.”
The series focuses on women’s emotions, strength, and resilience- a theme that deeply connects with Sana’s personal experiences. The actress chose this comeback project to remind audiences that setbacks don’t define anyone’s future.
Before her break, Sana was seen in several notable projects including the popular television shows Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? and Arjun. She also participated in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 11, where she impressed viewers with her stunts. The actress has always shown her willingness to take up diverse and challenging roles, and is once again ready to add another strong performance to the list.
The shoot for her new series is already underway and will be out soon. Sana describes this phase as both a professional return and a personal win. She says this new chapter is about embracing life again, breaking perceptions, and proving that a pause doesn’t mean the end of the story.
