Rushad Rana, who was last seen as a music producer on 'Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala', is all set to join the cast of the long-running show, '
Shakti... Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki
'. He will play Chaddha, a lawyer, who will represent Harman's (
Vivian Dsena) brother Varun (Laksh Handa). He will fight the case against
Ronit Roy, who is playing the role of Saumya's (
Rubina Dilaik) lawyer in the show.
Rushad is excited about sharing screen space with Ronit again three year after they acted together in 'Adalat'. Interestingly, both actors played lawyers on the previous show. Rushad says, "I featured in two episodes of 'Adalat' as a lawyer, along with Ronit Roy. It's amazing to work with him again."
He further adds, "I have dreamt of becoming a lawyer since childhood. However, my aspirations underwent a change as I grew up and I became an actor. Now, this has turned out to be more exciting. My job as an actor allows me to live characters from different walks of life and professions, including a lawyer, on screen. I played one alongside
Rani Mukerji in 'Veer Zaara'. Somehow, the idea of playing a lawyer always excites me more than other characters. To me, it's like living my childhood dream."
