Pawan Singh is currently a part of the reality show Rise and Fall. The actor got married to Neelam Devi in 2014. However, three months later, his wife passed away. Pawan Singh spoke about his first wife’s demise in the reality show with co-contestants Arjun Bijlani and Nayandeep Rakshi. He revealed to them that his first wife left the world in a “wrong way” after three months of their marriage. Talking about her, he shared, “Woh Devi thi, jisse maine kho diya.”

While talking about his first marriage in Rise and Fall, Pawan Singh revealed that another person came into his life and he got close to her. The actor said that after consistently working with someone, he developed a bond with this person. He later revealed that he didn’t marry her as his family didn’t approve of it. Although Pawan Singh did not take the name of this co-star, many speculated that he was hinting towards Bhojpuri actress Akshara Singh. The two were rumoured to be in a relationship, and in an interview with Sidharth Kannan, another Bhojpuri actress, Amrapali, claimed that Pawan did not marry Akshara for the sake of his mother’s happiness.

In 2018, Pawan Singh tied the knot with fellow Bhojpuri star Jyoti Singh. After being in the marriage for a few years, the couple filed for divorce in 2022. In a recent episode of Rise and Fall, Pawan addressed his separation from Jyoti and said that this “matter” is heading towards a divorce. He said, “Pariwar ne kahi aur basaya. Jyoti and Pawan had issues in their marriage from the very start, and the actress confirmed it in a statement released by her. She said, “I never talked to Pawan before marriage and all these married things happened in just 20 days. My only thing from the beginning was to get married wherever my father told me. Things started getting worse from the day I got married, but my family told me to adjust. I have a few things with me that I will bring to the people very soon through the media. Immediately after the marriage ended, Pawan told me that he had a film mahurat and he left after a few minutes. Then after some time, I came to know that he was lying and he was with Akshara in Patna.”

Jyoti further revealed shocking details about his bond with actress Akshara: “This whole thing happened when Pawan Singh’s mother came to me on the same day of marriage and told me to call him and ask him where he had reached because it had been a long time since he left the house. When I called him, Akshara picked up the call and said that Pawan is drunk and he is sleeping. Then Akshara told me that he got married under the pressure of his family and Pawan always told her that she is his wife.”

The Bhojpuri star once again found himself in controversy after a video of him touching actress Anjali Raghav’s waist during a stage event went viral. The clip circulated widely on social media, with many bashing Pawan Singh over his behaviour. Anjali then broke her silence on the situation and said, “I have been very disturbed for the past two days. I am continuously getting DMs asking why I didn’t say anything, why I didn’t take any action, why I didn’t slap, regarding the Lucknow incident. And some people are even blaming me; in some memes they are writing, ‘She was laughing, she was enjoying it.’ Do you think I would feel happy or enjoy being touched in public like that?”
