Ridhiema Tiwari: I don't believe in comparing a second season of a show with its previous one

Ridhiema Tiwari will reprise her role as Disha in the second season of Sasural Genda Phool. The actress shares how she is counting her blessings and happy to be working with the same team again.
She says, "I will relive Disha in the show. The character was loved even in the first season and the show changed my life then. It brought me recognition, love, respect and satisfaction as an artist.I worked with a interesting and talented bunch of people. I am glad that I got an opportunity to be part of the second season. It is quite nostalgic shooting on the sets of the show."
Ask her about second seasons of shows not being able to recreate the earlier magic and she says, "I am not a pessimist and don't compare two seasons of a show and why the first one worked and second did not This is the second season of Sasural Genda Phool and we look forward to new beginnings and reliving magical moments while working together."
Ridhiema also shares how television needs good content and people who can take risks. "We should focus on finite shows, good content and makers who can take risks. Every show can't be a social drama. The budgets for actors need to increase so that the craft is not compromised. The long working hours also need to regularise a bit. TV is a great medium but only if we make different content, audiences will also change their tastes and try watching something different," she says.
