Actor Sidharth Shukla began his acting career in 2008 and over the years has done some interesting roles, making a mark each time. The popular actor, who passed away in 2021, is remembered fondly by his fans who regularly carry out trends in his name online. Sidharth Shukla started his career with modelling. In 2005, he was declared the world’s best model after which he started doing ad films. He also appeared in a music video Resham Ka Rumaal (song was sung by Ila Arun). He walked the ramp too for fashion shows.

In 2008, Sidharth started focussing on acting. His first TV serial was Babul Ka Aangan Chootein Na, where he worked alongside Aastha Chaudhary. Later he was part of shows like Jaane Pehchaane Se... Ye Ajnabbi and Love U Zindagi. He was appreciated for his roles.

In 2012, he became part of the show Balika Vadhu where he played the role of Shivraj Shekhar. That garnered him a lot of love from audiences. The viewers of the show and his fans still remember him fondly for that role. About playing Shivraj Shekhar, Sidharth had once said, "Balika Vadhu played an important part in my life and an extremely critical role in my career. I got a chance to work and learn with the best from the television industry and it surely holds a very special part in my heart."

In 2014, the actor bagged his first Bollywood film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya alongside Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhavan. He looked dashing in the film and people loved his performance too. Everyone in fact expected him to do a lot more films after this.

He may not have done films, but he was a delight to watch in reality shows. Sidharth participated in the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa in 2013. He learnt a lot of dancing and enjoyed his journey on the show. Later he went on to do Khatron Ke Khiladi in 2016. The actor made sure to win it and it was a well- deserved win. He balanced reality shows with fiction. Around 2017, he was seen in Dil Se Dil Tak with Rashami Desai and Jasmin Bhasin.

For two years in 2015 and 2016, Sidharth was seen as a host on India's Got Talent. His sweet smile and cool -dude acts were quite liked by audiences. There was hardly anything that the actor had not tried on the small screen. And he did ace in most of them.

This was another turning point in his career. People loved the real Sidharth Shukla. His logic, his funny moments, the one-liners and even the aggressive approach at times, won him a massive fan following. After he came out as a winner, Sidharth said in an interview, "I was not concerned about who my competitors were because I was focused on winning. I wanted to do the best I could to win. I am sure all of them were strong, but I never wanted to compete with them; I was just chasing the goal that I had set out to achieve and things just happened."

Even today, his fans feel Broken But Beautiful 3 was one of Sidharth's best performances. His acting in this show won him a lot of appreciation.
