#Rewind2021: Harshad Chopda, Nakuul Mehta, Disha Parmar and other actors who made a comeback on TV this year

TV has been been the claim to fame for many popular celebrities. Many actors rise to fame with their television shows. However, staying in the limelight is quite a task as not every actor has several projects in his/her pipeline always. This also makes some disappear from the screens for a while until they bag another good project. This happened with quite a few popular celebs this year. Popular TV actor Harshad Chopda, who is known for his roles in Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil, Tere Liye and Left Right Left among others, made a comeback on TV with the popular show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. The actor, who was last seen in Bepannah Pyaar in 2018, signed YRKKH as the lead and returned to TV after a gap of three years. He joined the show after a generation leap and is playing the character of Abhimanyu Birla in the show.

Bigg Boss 14 winner Rubina Dilaik rose to immense popularity and fame once again with her reality show win. It not only brought her back in the limelight but also made her return to the small screen in her popular character, Soumya, in Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki. She had earlier quit the show due to a generation leap in 2020. Rubina made a comeback after almost a year. The show went off air a few months ago.

Ishqbaaz fame Nakuul Mehta is another popular actor who made returned to the small screen as Ram Kapoor in Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2, after a long gap. The actor, who rose to fame with his charming roles, was not seen on TV since 2017. He finally stepped in the shoes of actor Ram Kapoor, who played the lead in the first season of Bade Acche Lagte Hain. Nakuul is being loved in the character.

Newly married, Disha Parmar, who debuted on TV with Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara alongside Nakuul Mehta, is back too. The actress, who was seen in the show Woh Apna Sa, came back in limelight due to her marriage with Bigg Boss 14’s Rahul Vaidya. She returned to the small screen with Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2. The actress has once again been paired with her debut co-star Nakuul Mehta. She is playing the role of Priya, which was essayed by the lovely Sakshi Tanwar in the first season.

Actor Arhaan Behll, who was loved as Krishna Sajjan Singh in Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya, returned with the second season of the show. The actor was last seen on TV in a brief role in Yeh Jaadu Hai Jinn Ka. He surprised fans as he made his way back in the role of Krishna alongside Pooja Gor.

Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya fame Pooja Gor, who was missing from TV for a long long time made a comeback with the second season of the show too. The actress who enjoys a huge fan following was being missed ever since her last performance in Ek Nayi Ummeed – Roshni in the year 2015. Though Pooja was away from TV for all this while, she was busy with a few web projects.

Cezanne Khan, who rose to immense fame and garnered a massive fan following as Anuraag in Kasuati Zindagi Kay also came back on TV. The actor was never seen on-screen ever since the show ended and only returned to take everyone by surprise. His comeback was one of the most unexpected ones for sure. Cezanne returned to TV as Harman, the character which was earlier played by Vivan Dsena in Rubina Diliak starrer Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki.

The cute boy of television, Jay Soni, who was loved as Ishaan Kashyap in Sasural Genda Phool is back too. He has returned in the same role in the second season of the same show. However, Jay was not completely away during this time. He was seen in brief roles in shows like Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, Gudiya Hamari Sabhi Pe Bhari.

He was away from the small screen for two years and more before he finally made a comeback with Balika Vadhu 2. Vivian Dsena, who was last seen as Harman in Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas ki returned on TV too with new show Sirf Tum. He is playing the lead role alongside Eisha Singh. Talking about his previous project Shakti, the actor had exited the show in 2019.
