Punjabi kudi Neet Mahal wins Mika Singh’s heart with her cooking skills; a look at the prospective bride-to-be’s life and journey in Swayamvar: Mika Di Vohti

Chandigarh-born Neet Mahal has been bonding quite a lot with Bollywood singer Mika Singh in his Swayamvar: Mika Di Vohti. From earning solo date time to winning his heart with her cooking skills, Neet has been a strong contender in the show. Take a look at her journey in the show and her professional life.

In one of the tasks, where the prospective brides were asked to cook a dish for Mika Singh, Neet Mahal announces that she doesn’t know how to cook. However, when Mika tastes all the dishes, anonymously, he likes Neet’s ‘kheer’ the best.

After winning the best dish, she gets an advantage to go on a solo date with Mika Singh. Mika and Neet go to witness a derby race. Dressed in their royal best, the two spend some quality time with each other.

Neet Mahal and Mika Singh had known each other previously as they had worked in a music video. In the show, Neet revealed how she had heard of Mika having a ‘reputation’ while she had signed the project. She shared, “While on the sets, I saw his genuine human side and was in awe of him. He was so sweet. He would tell me to sit with him and everybody during lunch. He was very cordial with me.” Neet is also one of the finalists in the show.

During the show, it was Mika who informed that they had shared screen space in a song. He called her a sweet and nice girl. In one of their dates, Mika shared, “I really like you and you like me too. I really like you the way you are.” The two bond over their Punjabi roots.

In the first few episodes of the reality show, prospective brides-to-be Neet and Bushra get into a heated argument. Seeing Bushra so close to Mika, Neet tells everyone that they have ‘khatra’ from her (Bushra). Neet comments that Punjabis have positive vibes and don’t spread negative aura taking a dig at Bushra. Bushra points at herself and hits back saying of all the girls only she has aura. Bushra also calls Neet ‘Sasti Katrina Kaif’. The two have been at loggerheads throughout.

In the introduction episode, Neet stated that she is fond of poetry. She calls herself ‘beauty with brains’. She impressed Mika by reciting her composed ‘shayaris’.

Neet Mahal is an Indian actress and model who has worked in the Punjabi film industry. She is best known for appearing in the Punjabi films Takhatgarh (2022), Dulla Vaily (2019) and High End Yaariyaan (2019). She also did a film titled ‘Hard Kaur’.

Neet has also done several music videos like Kamli Yaar Di, GT Road, Straight Outta Mohali and Commitment to name a few.
