Prakriti Nautiyal, who was last seen in the TV show Barrister Babu, tied the knot with stock trader Vandit Shah in Mumbai on February 14. It was a court marriage and only family members and friends were present.
Prakriti, who got engaged in her hometown Dehradun in November 2023, sounded very happy and excited as she shared the news. She said, "Vandit and I decided to have a court wedding on February 14.
It was an auspicious date as it was Basant Panchami, too. The wedding was attended by only our close family members. We wanted to keep it private."
The Divya Drishti actress added, "It feels great to be married because I have found a partner who loves me a lot and is extremely supportive. We are from very different family backgrounds but because of our unconditional love, our bond is strong. My in-laws are very sweet and loving."
Talking about her husband, she shared, "Vandit is a simple, honest guy. He was my classmate's cousin. He lost his wife in the pandemic and we connected sometime later. I always had a crush on him but could never tell him. I am glad destiny has brought us together and we look forward to this new phase in our lives."
On the work front, Prakriti who was seen in Pavitra Rishta 2, said, "I want to focus more on web shows since they are short term projects and finite. If there is something interesting in TV, I might consider it, but currently I am hoping to do more projects in the web space."
