Television actresses dole out skincare tips for post-Holi cleanup

Getting rid of the pakka rang, gulaal and other colours of Holi from one's face can be quite a cumbersome task. Especially, when you don't want to leave your skin raw and exposed after multiple rounds of washing with soap and scrubbing. To help bring back the pre-Holi skin radiance, television actresses share their very own skincare regime that they follow for post-Holi clean up.

Pooja Banerjee: Aloe vera to soothe the skin after washing off colours

Kumkum Bhagya asctress Pooja Banerjee feels one needs to be careful both pre and post Holi celebration. "You got to take care of the skin before the celebration to make it easier for cleaning up after the celebration. I generally put coconut oil on my body and face, so in case anybody puts harmful colours, it does not penetrate my skin. After playing Holi, colours come off easily then. I prefer putting aloe-vera on my skin after wash to soothe my skin," she says.

You can apply this to patches of skin that feel rough and dry. This pack helps fight the dryness brought on after scrubbing off the colours. It also helps bring back moisture and glow to the skin. This is my skincare mantra for every Holi."
