Now Ankit Gera quits the show

Pratigya will see a leap soon and that’s bound to impact the serial. The first casualty ever since news of the leap has come out, is Ankit Gera, who plays Adarsh in the show.
The actor doesn’t want to become a part of the four-year impending leap and play a father on the show. Apparently, apart from other major changes, Adarsh and Komal will also become proud parents.Says Ankit, “I don’t want to continue post the leap. I want to do something really different from what I’m doing right now.” With Ankit quitting the show, a new face will have to step in his shoes to essay his role and take the story ahead. Incidentally, Ankit was in the news when his onscreen mother Monica Singh quit the show a few months ago. He and Monica were involved in real life and she opted out of the serial after their relationship went kaput.
