Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia's Bigg Boss 16 journey.... here's a look at the highs and the lows the actress experienced

Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, who is currently in the Bigg Boss 16 house, had entered the finale sometime back. She was the first contestant to win the ticket to the finale and reach the last leg of the show. Along with her, there are five other contestants who have reached the finale.

But there's buzz that Nimrit has just been evicted. Whether that's true or not, we decided to track the actress' journey in BB16 over the past few months. Here are the highlights...

Nimrit was the first contestant who entered the BB house and she was given the captaincy by Bigg Boss himself. She looked very strong in the first week of the show ad later that seemed to fade away. Currently, she is the captain; she was chosen two weeks back. But now she seems to be taking strong decisions and sharing her opinions freely.

Relations keep changing in this reality show. Sometimes we see friends become enemies and vice versa. But one constant rivalry we saw this season was between Nimrit and Priyanka. The two didn't get along since the start and that has continued till the end. The two always said that their ideologies and opinions don't match due to which they can never be friends.

Earlier Nimrit was good friends with the other contestants like Gautam Vig, Tina Datta and others, but over a period of time she started speaking more to Shiv Thakare, Abdu Rozik and Sajid Khan due to which she became part of the mandali. And throughout the show, she has maintained her friendship with them. While some appreciate her for this, others feel she doesn't have a strong game of her own.

This friendship got highlighted when Abdu developed feelings for Nimrit. He told Sajid Khan and Nimrit about it. The actress handled the situation well and told him that she already had someone in her life outside the show. It took a few days for Abdu to get a grip over his feelings, but after that, it was back to normal and the two remained friends.

At one point in November last year, the Choti Sarrdaarni actress revealed that she has been through depression in the past and is facing a similar feeling on the show now. She said to Bigg Boss in confession room that, 'There are too many things filled inside me I don't know if you know but I suffered from depression and anxiety for a year and it's not like I have fully recovered. I have been on medication for a year or so, and 4-5 months before coming to the house. I had stopped my medication on my own. So it gets difficult."

During the family week, it was Nimrit's father who came to support her and while she was happy to see her father, she got into an argument with him, where she was heard saying that her parents have never understood her and have pressurised her. This didn't go well with the viewers and even the host of the show Salman Khan explained to her that her father was just advising her, which was not wrong. She realised that she shouldn't have reacted the way she did.

While Nimrit spoke about her past battle with depression, she did seem a little lost in the game for around two- three weeks in around December. This was even addressed by Bigg Boss and she was asked to buck up and get back to the game.

In the next episode of the show, some fans will enter the house and live eliminations will take place. But there are reports doing the rounds that Nimrit has just been eliminated from the show. If that's true, then it's sad that after coming this far, she couldn't be a part of the finale.
