Monday night (August 16) was a red carpet night at a music awards show where TV celebs kept their best fashion foot forward. But was it their fashionable best? Jasmin Bhasin and Aly Goni made quite a mark on the red carpet with their ‘all-black look’. Aly Goni’s quirky look complemented Jasmin’s elegance in the ‘opposites attract’ way. Akanksha Puri and Reem Shaikh just show how the red carpet look is done. While Akanksha turned heads in a sleek metallic gown, the highlighter and bronzer look is overpowering. Shivangi Joshi is one of the most popular actresses in the TV industry and has a huge fandom. But somehow she just missed the mark on the red carpet. The unflattering choice of outfit, colour and silhouette somehow doesn’t match up to the look she intended to. To top it all, the make-up was too overpowering for the camera lights. Pics: ETimes TV

Both the actress wore black gowns with a voluminous tail and that’s where it fizzled out. While Nikki could have just gone for the shimmery little black without the satin patchwork net tail, Shruti’s gatherer crushed net gown would have looked wow minus the ruffled-shoulder and the tail. The RadhaKrishn lead pair is a superhit jodi among fans and they tried to create a ‘matching look for the red carpet. Mallika wore the shiniest red gown of all times but it’s the cakey makeup that draws attention. Also, Sumedh’s suit, bow tie, trouser’s length and red shoes are all a mismatch. The BFFs of telly town are social media sensations when it comes to serving up some stylish looks of all times. But we don’t quite know what went wrong on the red carpet. The telly couple did create a fashionable look but it was Ripci, whose shimmery metallic shirt and shorts co-ord outfit stole the limelight.
