The makers have decided to revamp the storyline going forward and have cast new faces for the same. As per the new promo, the audiences will get to see a new Arohi, which is none other than actress
Nia Sharma
.
Nia, who is remembered for her role in the show Jamai Raja, will be making her small screen comeback with Ishq Mein Marjawan, where she will be seen in the lead role. Earlier, Arohi and Tara were played by the same actor, Aalisha.
The show was awarded as the Best Crime Thriller at a recently held Awards ceremony.
In the current storyline of the show, Arohi and Deep reunite to compete against Tara, who threatens to kill Arohi's family. Tara and Arohi have a confrontation as they both plan and plot to win Deep's love.
While the makers gave a sneak peek of Nia's role on the show, nothing has been said about Arjun and Aalisha's future roles. The show opened to excellent reviews and ratings in its premiere days but after a good run, the ratings dropped. The story is being currently reworked to bring back the audience interest as before.
