New dad Apurva Agnihotri enjoys his fatherly duties as he puts baby Ishaani to sleep; watch video

Actor-couple Apurva Agnihotri and Shilpa recently welcomed their baby girl into the world and shared about feeling on top of the world as they became parents after 18 years of their marriage. Apurva shared another heartwarming post on his Instagram as he was putting his baby girl Ishaani to sleep.

Apurva, who is delighted to become a father after such a long time, shared an adorable video with his daughter Ishaani. Apurva was seen spending some precious time with his newborn daughter. In the video, the actor was putting Ishaani to sleep by swinging her in the baby cot as it was her nap time.

Apurva also put on a lullaby song ‘sleep tight’ for her to doze off. Apurva also captioned the post “There are few moments in life that bring as much joy as watching your baby drift off to sleep ( Especially when you are in need for some zzzzz yourself

The new parents Shilpa and Apurva spoke with BT after they welcomed their baby girl Ishaani after 18 years of the long wait. Shilpa said “Ishaani was born on October 14 and she is God’s gift to us. For the last 18 years, while we were happy to be just the two of us, at the back of our minds, there was a desire to become parents. After a long journey, our dream has finally come true.”

Apurva also added “Ishaani is not at all cranky and I love feeding and burping her. I believe that things happen when they are meant to happen and 2022 has been a great year because now we are three. I would like Ishaani to grow into a tough girl and get into adventure sports like her daddy (smiles).”
