Nach Baliye 9: Salman Khan spills the beans on contestants, confirms exes to be a part of the show

Nach Baliye is soon going to return to the small screen with its 9th season. The dance reality show, which is a huge hit among the viewers, has already started to create a lot of buzz and it is believed that a lot will change in its format this time. This time Nach Baliye 9 will feature a mix of current and former couples.

After Urvashi Dholakia-Anuj Sachdeva and Madhurima Tuli-Vishal Aditya Singh, it is learnt that the makers are in talks with two more ex-couples. Actor Pearl V Puri, who was dating Hiba Nawab during the course of their show, 'Meri Saasu Maa', has been approached to participate in the dance reality show. Pearl and Hiba’s relationship had gone kaput soon after their show ended. Another ex-couple who has confirmed their presence on the show is Natasa Stankovic and Aly Goni. Actress Shraddha Arya has also been approached to participate on the show. Apparently, Alam Makkar, a businessman from Jalandhar, is expected to shake a leg with her.

Nothing could be more exciting than watching exes reunite and burn the dance floor. After months of speculation, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan confirmed to Mumbai Mirror, "Nach Baliye this year is going to be all about entertainment with our new concept of getting not just couples but ex-couples under one roof."

Salman, who ventured into TV production with The Kapil Sharma Show, is on board for Nach Baliye 9, too. According to Mumbai Mirror, Salman's quite hands-on with the creative aspect of the show and brainstorming over new ideas with his team to make the season different from the previous ones.

In the upcoming season, it's not just the traditional couples, who will participate, but also ex-lovers, who have put their past behind. This is expected to spice up things on the show and entertain the viewers.

Though there were reports that Jennifer Winget and Sunil Grover have been roped in to host the show, there has been a change in plan. Actor Maniesh Paul has now been roped in to host the reality show. Whether or not he will have a co-host remains to be seen. Some of the couples who are rumoured to be a part of the season include Prince Narula and Yuvika Chaudhary, Sana Khan and Melvin Louis, Kavita Kaushik and Ronit Biswas, Rohan Mehra and Kanchi Singh, and exes Urvashi Dholakia and Anuj Sachdeva.

It was television's popular jodi - Divyanka and Vivek - who won the previous season of the show, beating Sanam Johar And Abigail Pande.
