‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2’ May 28 written update: Rio gets arrested after Khushboo identifies him

The latest episode of 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2’ begins with Rio trying to defend himself and telling everyone that he did not do anything wrong to Khushboo. Meanwhile, Tulsi is shocked over the matter and wonders what will happen. As Rio continues to defend himself, Vaishnavi comments that he got off the train at Borivali, though he explains that it was only to get something to eat. Parth also admits that Rio was missing at the time of the incident, and that he had even seen him cleaning his clothes before the police arrived.

Nandini demands that Rio tell the truth

Nandini reveals that she told everyone to be careful about Rio because he is Ans’s son. She then demands that he tell the truth about what really happened; however, Rio stays silent. Niyati also requests him to explain what happened, which prompts him to explain that he missed the train when he got off to buy a packet of chips and some water. He explains that he did not do anything and that he had to travel back to Surat in a cab because of this incident.



When Parth asks him about his dirty clothes, Rio explains that he had fallen in a puddle of mud and had been trying to clean it. He also explains that he had to throw away the clothes as well because he couldn’t get them clean. He also continues to ask Khushboo to tell the truth; however, she stays silent.

Niyati defends Rio

Niyati takes a stand for Rio and declares his innocence. As the police get ready to arrest him and tell everyone to wait for the investigation, Niyati requests Tulsi to stop this drama; however, she goes on to tell the police to take Rio away. As Guatam wonders if this is the right thing, Nandini comments that Rio is just like his father. Sahil also tries to stop all of this amid Niyati's pleas.

As the police take Rio away, she comments that she regrets coming to Shanti Niketan and that it was a bad decision. She also comments that Tulsi does not trust her own grandson and that she is not treating him right.

Nakul and Dev also take a stand for Rio, and the latter even comments that Parth only accused Rio because of the property matter. Tulsi lauds Khushboo for her bravery in coming forward. She also tells her that if Rio is guilty, he will be punished.

The episode ends with the police interrogating Rio and telling him to admit to his crime. The promo for the next episode shows that Rio is proven innocent, while Niyati finally learns the truth about Karan and Nandini.
