'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2' 31st May written update: Niyati learns Karan's secret

In this episode of 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi', Rio joins Parth and Vaishnavi at an important meeting with a client. Parth finishes his presentation and the client agrees to give them 90 percent of the payment. Parth tries to convince the client by showing them the latest designs. However, due to inflation, the client is only willing to pay 90 percent. Rio tells the client that these designs cannot be found anywhere else and they will earn more than 200 percent in the market. The client asks Rio to introduce himself. Rio tells him they want 200 percent in the deal. The client refuses to work with the Virani's, which upsets Parth. Rio tells Parth the designs are excellent and he has no idea about their value. Parth gets angry and Vaishnavi tries to stop him. Vaishnavi tells Parth they will find someone who can give them a solution.

Rio's apology and the surprise

Parth explains to his family that they lost the contract because of Rio. Parth and Vaishnavi tell Tulsi that Rio tried to stop them. Tulsi and Ritik ask Rio why he did this. Rio apologizes because he stopped Parth. Parth tells everyone that Rio doesn't care that the clients are gone. Just then, Parth gets a call from the client. He takes it and is surprised to learn the clients are ready to deal with them at 200 percent. Everyone is shocked and smiles. Rio tells Parth to sit down and appreciates his design, and says he doesn't want them to make a loss. Rio tells everyone he is also family and expects an apology from them. Rio tells Tulsi he is feeling bored and wants to meet his friend. Niyati asks Rio to come back soon. Tulsi thinks sending Rio to the factory was the right decision and expects he will do well. Niyati reminds Tulsi that Rio is Karan's son.

A delicious preparation and hidden memories

Tulsi appreciates Rio to Mihir and asks him to come back soon. Tulsi makes lapsi and Niyati loves the smell. Niyati misses her days before coming to Shantiniketan. Tulsi tells Niyati not to overthink. Tulsi explains she will first offer the lapsi to Thakurji and then to the family members. Nandini comes to get water and hears Niyati complimenting Karan. Just then, Niyati gets a call from Karan and goes to her room. A vase falls from Niyati's hand and she starts cleaning the floor. While cleaning Niyati finds a box with old family photos. She discovers photos of Karan and Nandini together. Niyati starts thinking about Nandini's words in a flashback and realizes that Karan is married to Nandini. Niyati is shocked.

The heartbreaking truth

Tulsi tells Nandini it is very difficult for her to act normal in front of Niyati and she wants to talk to Karan. Nandini tells Tulsi that every time Niyati says Karan is her husband, she should know that Nandini is Karan's wife. Niyati overhears the conversation and drops the photos. Niyati tells Tulsi that Karan is not her husband. Tulsi tries to explain to Niyati but Niyati runs away. Tulsi tries to stop her but Niyati takes the car and drives away. Tulsi informs Rio that Niyati has taken the car after learning the facts.

A terrible accident

While driving, Niyati thinks everything was a lie to her. She is shocked to learn that Nandini is Karan's wife. Niyati loses control of the car. The car hits a tree and Niyati gets a head injury from the impact.
