Kushal Tandon-Gauahar Khan to Divyanka Tripathi-Ssharad Malhotra; TV couples who broke up but are still friends

Can exes be friends? A question that has answers based on respective person's perspective. However, a few of the television couples have answered this question in affirmative by staying cordial and friends with their exes. Recently, Kushal Tandon bumped into his ex Gauahar Khan at the airport, and congratulated her on her marriage with Zaid Darbar. Let's take a look at some more former TV couples, who have buried the hatchet and continue to remain cordial with each other:

Kushal Tandon and Gauahar Khan fell in love with each other during the reality show Bigg Boss 7. Their relationship fizzled out after dating for a few years. However, there is no bad blood between the two, and Gauahar attended the opening of Kushal's restaurant and the latter also greeted her after bumping into the newly married Gauahar. Zaid had gone to see off Gauahar to the airport.

Divyanka Tripathi and Ssharad Malhotra met each other on the sets of Banoo Main Teri Dulhan and fell in love with each other. They were together for nearly a decade but destiny had something else in store for them, and their relationship ended. On several occasions, whenever the two happened to be at the same venue, Divyanka ignored his presence. However, they buried the hatchet after the Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actress tied the knot with Vivek Dahiya in 2016. He congratulated her and Ssharad is now married to Ripci Bhatia in 2019.

Raqesh Bapat and Ridhi Dogra met on the sets of Maryada: Lekin Kab Tak and cupid struck between the two. They tied the knot in May 2011, but they announced their amicable separation during the lockdown after being together for eight years. The former couple has common friends and they often meet. Ridhi and Raqesh also wish each other on their birthdays too. While talking to BT, Ridhi had earlier said, “Raqesh and I were, are and would like to remain best of friends, because that’s the understanding we share. There is incompatibility, and that’s about it. I don’t wish to make it dramatic or painful for either of us. We have very carefully and maturely tried to handle the situation and tried our best to not hurt each other or our families. We realised that we are better off as friends than partners."

Rahul Mahajan and Dimpy Ganguly had a reality television wedding via a swayamvar. However, their relationship did not work out and they divorced each other. Later, they were seen together in the reality show, Bigg Boss 8, and there was no bitter feeling between the two.

Kritika Kamra and Karan Kundrra were one of the most-loved couples of the telly town. In an exclusive conversation with Bombay Times, Kritika had said that they couldn't take care of their relationship. Even after their breakup, the two remain friends and even did a show together. In a Facebook live with Times of India long ago, Kritika said that she is friends with all her exes. The two have moved on in life, and are focussing on their careers. Priyank Sharma and Divya Agarwal broke up with each other when the former was inside Bigg Boss 11 house. They had made an entry together at Prince Narula and Yuvika Chaudhary's wedding where Priyank made it clear that everything is fine between the two. "All's well between us. I just spoke to her few days ago and congratulated her on her new music video. We just spoke because she was working with one of my friends Benafsha and they both share a very good relationship with her. They gell really well with each other. All the negativity has gone, only positive things are around. I hope she does well in life. She says the same thing to me as well. We are on a very good track now where we wish for each other's success," said Priyank.

Initially, after the break-up we stopped talking to each other but eventually everything got sorted between us and we decided to be friends. When we were in relationship we figured out that things were not working out so we parted ways. I have known him since the last 4 years before we started dating each other. We were friends and I hope to stay friends with him in future also as everything is sorted now."
