Khatron Ke Khiladi: A look at the previous winners and what they are up to now

Stunt-based reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 is all set to premiere tonight (December 5). Like most of the previous seasons, this one is, yet again, hosted by Bollywood's popular director, Rohit Shetty. The format of the show sees a set of challenging tasks that the contestants have to perform in order to get to the next level. While there's a lot of buzz around who will bag the trophy this time, here's taking a look at the previous winners...

Shantanu Maheshwari defeated Hina Khan and other tough contestants in the previous season and managed to bag the trophy. A dancer at heart, Shantanu has been part of several TV shows - fiction and non-fiction. He was last seen as a host on MTV Love On The Run.

More popular for his role of Shivraj Alok Shekhar in Balika Vadhu, Sidharth, who is quite athletic, bagged the trophy in the seventh season. He was last seen on the small screen in Dil Se Dil Tak, where he played the character of Parth Bhanushali.

Ashish Chaudhary is a popular TV actor, and was last seen in the show, Dev. He won the sixth season of Khatron Ke Khiladi. The actor has been part of several other television shows including Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8, Ek Mutthi Aasmaan, Hum Pardesi Ho Gaye, Khiladi among others.

Television actor Rajneesh Duggal won the fifth season of the show. While he has several films to his credit, his last outing on TV was in Aarambh, which aired in 2017. Rajneesh's win on Khatron Ke Khiladi earned him huge popularity.

Hosted by Akshay Kumar, Aarti Chhabria proved her talent, grit and determination by winning the fourth season of the show. Aarti's last appearance on TV was in Darr Sabko Lagta Hai. She also released a short film in 2017. (Photo: Instagram)

The first season of the show was won by Nethra Raghuraman, an Indian actress and model. Before Nethra did the reality series, she was part of the TV show, Captain Vyom. She was last seen in the film 'Bhagya Na Jaane Koi'.
