Kapil teases Archana to give house help Bhagyashree's number, Sonu Sood cries after being called 'messiah' of the poor; major highlights from The Kapil Sharma Show's first episode post lockdown

The Kapil Sharma Show resumed work and its first episode post the lockdown was aired on Saturday, August 1. The show was a mix of laughter, emotions, and imparted social messages to become 'aatmnirbhar' (independent) during this pandemic. Archana Puran Singh entertained fans with her Instagram videos of her domestic help, Bhagyashree. She became famous due to her jolly behaviour and to-the-point conversations. Bhagyashree has been featured in many portals too, and Kapil Sharma, too, could not resist from taking Bhagyashree's name on the show. He teased Archa Puran Singh that the channel has requested for Bhagyashree's number, in the same way how they got Archana's number when they wanted to replace former guest, Navjot Singh Sidhu. The entire team joked that even during the lockdown, she was in the news but at the expense of Bhagyashree. Kapil Sharma, Krushna Abhishek, Bharti Singh, Kiku Sharda, and Sumona Chakravarti cracked jokes on lockdown. Kapil said how the wives would deck up their husbands in shields, gloves and remind them to use sanitizers while going out to buy groceries and other essentials. He also joked about how he is so used to sweeping the floors now that he started cleaning the floor on the set. Archana Puran Singh couldn't be missed if Kapil and the team are cracking jokes. The host of the show said that she is using the sanitizer repeatedly because it is offered by the channel. He added, had it been her own sanitizer, she would take fewer drops of it. Kapil and Krushna Abhishek pulled Archana's leg by saying that during the lockdown, she was busy making videos with Bhagyashree while her actor-husband Parmeet Sethi did all the household chores. Bharti Singh also couldn't get over Bhagyashree and told Archana that a few people wanted to take pictures with her domestic help. Chandan Prabhakar aka Chandu 'chaiwala' went missing in action, whereas Rajeev Thakur was seen in a similar get-up and pleading for acceptance from the old cast. Everybody, including Kapil, were trying to shoo away Rajeev. Bollywood and South's superstar-actor Sonu Sood received a salute and a standing ovation from everybody present on the set. A video of the migrant workers thanking and praising him, whom he helped during the lockdown, and continues to do so, made him emotional. A video of the migrants standing in queue for their transport and Sonu Sood being on the field everyday with them was really appreciated, and therefore, he is called the 'messiah' of the poor. Many of them stated their experience about how Sonu Sood came to their rescue and narrated stories of naming their stores or starting work by his name 'Sonu'. Sonu Sood said that no matter how much we say that we are living in a digital age and can help people digitally, the basic necessity of food, clothing, and shelter can't be satisfied digitally. "I've never felt this happier in my life that I did in the past 3 months," said the actor, who also spoke about from where he derived the idea of helping the migrants and about the app that he created for these people to get jobs.
