Kapil and I are ready to welcome the baby with open arms: Gurpreet Bedi

Actors Gurpreet Bedi and Kapil Arya, who have been married for three years, announced their pregnancy on social media. We reached out to Gurpreet, who said, “Even when we got married in 2021 during the pandemic, we didn’t plan a proper wedding, but it turned out to be a big affair, and we all had a great time. Similarly, I wasn’t planning for a baby, but the universe had a plan. God knew this was a good time for me and Kapil, and we are ready to welcome the baby with open arms.”The actress, who was last seen in Srimad Ramayan (2024), is due next month. On the work front, Gurpreet said, “There were some good offers that came my way last year, but I declined them because of my pregnancy. It was difficult to say no to work, but I had to do it. I am looking forward to the arrival of my baby, and I will get back to work once I am totally ready.”Gurpreet who is due in March 2025 further says, "The day we realised we were pregnant, we both were out for some work and I was short of breath. I was having all kinds of weird thoughts but when we went to the doctor, we got the good news and since then we are all pumped up. There are some tough and good days but we sail through it because I like to stay active. Kapil has been a big support in handling me and my mood swings."
