Many television stars have been happily wedded and have embraced motherhood with open arms. While they have done all of this and more, none of it has interfered with their work life. Some of them took or are taking their time returning to work, but others haven't waited too long to get back to work. Recently, Ishita Dutta who embraced motherhood was seen getting back to her busy work life.

Ishita, who is famous for her films like Drishyam, had recently delivered a baby boy. After a suitable break from work and embracing her motherhood, the actress is back on her feet and is ready to get back to work. She shared a post from her set and wrote, “First shoot post delivery, Feels great to be back on set." She also spoke about being away from her son during her work, “I haven't been out shooting for months. Although I've captured some content at home, being away from my usual outdoor shooting routine feels refreshing. It's strange not having Vaayu by my side; this feeling started last night, which was the first time I slept in a different room. Until now, we've been co-sleeping, and I'm not ready to part from him at night. Everyone advised me that I needed good sleep for the shoot, even though I had to wake up to feed him. Surprisingly, I did sleep well. Every time I wake up, I sneak a peek into his room to ensure he's okay. I’m missing him so much, “ she shared.

Gauahar Khan, who gave birth to a baby boy in May this year, was back to work soon. In a few days she was back to doing shoots, creating content on social media. She had also lost almost 10 kg within a few days of giving birth to son Zehaan.

Saumya Tandon of Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain, who gave birth to a son in January 2019, she returned to work in May the same year. Saumya was overjoyed on her first day back at work after a long absence, and the cast and crew greeted her with open arms. Discussing about her career after having a child, she had then said, “I believe motherhood should not stop a woman from achieving what she wants in life. I feel I am stronger now and more driven towards my dream. Hats off to all the women who are coming out and breaking all the stereotypes and celebrating marriage and motherhood. I really want the trend to go on because a woman doesn't become less desirable if she gets married or delivers a baby.”

Actress Chhavi Mittal, who is now a content creator, returned to work less than a month after giving birth to her son Arham. It wasn't surprising given that the actress had been very busy up to the final day of her pregnancy. Chhavi's son followed her to the workplace, much like Saumya did with her son to the sets. She had written a post for him too on her first day back at work after giving birth. She added, “Little Arham and I resumed office this Thursday. It's a place that he's spent most of his time at while he was in my tummy.. no wonder he was so calm in the midst of discussions, story narrations, meetings. Little entrepreneur in the making completely at home in office.”

Rita Reporter aka Priya Ahuja from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah returned to the sitcom within a few months of giving birth to her baby in November 2019. Priya returned to Taarak in less than four months. Priya and her husband Malav have both quit the show now.

Kanika Maheshwari, who played Meenakshi in Diya Aur Baati Hum, returned to work just a few days after giving birth. In April 2015, the actress gave birth to a son. She had told TOI, “I worked through all the first 8 and a half months into my pregnancy and hardly had a 25 day maternity break. I was back to work soon after my delivery." To accommodate Kanika’s pregnancy, her character in the daily soap was also shown pregnant. And while she was on her maternity break, Meenakshi and her husband, Vikram (Karan Goddwani) were shown to be out of the country for some trip.”

Navina Bole of Ishqbaaz gave birth to a baby girl in May of 2019. The actress walked the runway for Bombay Times Fashion Week just a few months after giving birth.

Bharti Singh astonished everyone when she returned to the sets of Hunarbaaz after only 12 days of her delivery. She admitted that she cried a lot after leaving the baby at home, but it was a professional commitment she couldn't break. She added, “Mein bahot royi hun aaj. It's not only her method of expressing her world, its pleasures and sufferings but also her source of money.

Mere Angne Mein actress Charu Asopa is no exception. During her pregnancy, the actress' YouTube viewers and participation skyrocketed as she revealed her parenthood journey.
