I have suffered multiple injuries in my spinal chord, says Kunal Karan Kapoor, who met with an accident on the sets of Udaariyaan

Kunal Karan Kapoor, who entered the show Udaariyaan, a month ago, unfortunately met with an accident on the sets in Chandigarh. In an action scene, the actor slipped and fell on the pavement. He has suffered multiple injuries in his spinal chord. Kunal was rushed to the hospital from the sets and he is currently advised bed rest for a month.

Kunal, who was resting at home in Chandigarh, said, "It was an accident that occurred whilst enacting an action scene. I was heavily engrossed in a fight scene with a co-actor and suddenly I slipped and fell on the pavement. My co-actor also fell with me because we both lost balance. I suffered multiple injuries in my spinal chord and had to be immediately taken to a hospital in Chandigarh from the sets. I am in terrible pain and am hoping to go back to Mumbai and rest at home. I am waiting for the doctors to give me permission to travel."

Kunal's entry brought freshness to the show. Now, it remains to be seen if he will exit or his character will continue to be part of the show. He said, "I was so excited to enter the show and move to Chandigarh. I have been shooting for over a month now. My role Rannvijay was interesting and the action had just begun. It is so unfortunate and I am disappointed with this. I will not be able to shoot for a month. I am not sure what happens to my track now. As of now, I am hoping to get back to Mumbai and recover soon."
