Hardik Pandya's recent appearance on
Koffee With Karan 6 didn't go down well with the viewers. Several of them took to their social media platforms to express their displeasure on the sexist remarks made by the cricketer on the show. Hardik has now issued an apology for the same on his Twitter account.
In the statement, Hardik said that he didn't mean to hurt anyone's sentiment and got carried away with the format of the show.
He wrote, "After reflecting on my comments on Koffee with Karan, I would like to apologise to everyone concerned who I may have hurt in any way. Honestly, I got a bit carried away with the nature of the show. In no way did I mean to disrespect or hurt anyone's sentiments. Respect."
Hardik Pandya made an appearance on the show with fellow team member K L Rahul. In the show, he talked loosely about women and his sexual activities. He also shared how he likes to check women's moves at a club.
Pandya also boasted about his 'scene' with women. Post the episode, Twitter was flooded with comments against the cricketer's misogynist remarks and outrageous behaviour.
His apology, too, hasn't been accepted by Twitterati and it seems they aren't in a mood to spare Hardik for this.
