Happy Birthday Siddharth Nigam: Lesser known facts about the national level gymnast

Television's one of the popular actor Siddharth Nigam,who is currently seen playing the role of Aladdin/Ali in Aladdin Naam Toh Suna Hoga, turns a year older today (September 13). The handsome star started his TV journey in 2011 as he appeared in an ad.

Later he was roped in by a hit Bollywood Film and called him for auditions for the role of young Sahir and Samar. After his successful debut as a child artist he made his TV debut with Maha Kumbh: Ek Rahasaya, Ek Kahani wherein he played the role of young Rudra.

After a successful debut in Maha Kumbh: Ek Rahasaya, Ek Kahani, Siddharth was seen in historical drama show - Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat.

In the show, Siddharth played the role of young Ashoka and gained limelight with his spectacular performances. He even received several awards for his performance.

Apart from TV shows, Siddharth also participated in reality dance show - Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 9. In 2017, Siddharth played the role of young Shivaji in Peshawa Bajirao and was also seen in Chandra Nandini.

Siddharth is not just an amazing actor but also a national level gymnast. He has won the gold medal for gymnastics and Jackie Chan is his inspiration. He shares, “If you are a gymnast, you will love Jackie Chan. I am totally in awe of the way he jumps, moves his body and perform stunts. I have always incorporated his stunts in my acrobatics and on the show, too. I have grown up watching his films and I feel that he can be a great inspiration to people like me.”

The actor wanted to win the gold medal at the national level and represent India but his mother wanted him to become an actor. In an interview with BT, Siddharth said, "My mother would watch prime-time news and ask me, ‘When will you appear on the screen?’ Though she was keen, I never even thought about acting. I wanted to make a career in gymnastics. I have won gold at the national level and represented India internationally. An Olympic medal was my biggest dream, but destiny had other plans. When I became a part of Ashoka, I realized that it was important to shift base to Mumbai".

Siddharth is a fitness freak and sneaks time out from his hectic shooting schedule for gym sessions. The actor has six-pack abs and loves to flaunt his toned body.
