Happy Birthday Asim Riaz: Working with Bollywood celebs like Shah Rukh Khan to Salman Khan; the Bigg Boss 13 star has come a long way

Bigg Boss 13 fame Asim Riaz has turned 28 today (July 13). The actor, who rose to fame with his reality show stint, is winning hearts with his style, smile and fabulous work. He has come a long way however, his journey and a few things about the actor are not much known to his fans. As the heartthrob celebrates his birthday today, here’s a look at some lesser-known facts about him:

The former Bigg Boss contestant turned a rapper with his new song Back To start. The actor who often discussed his love for rapping finally pursued it in April this year. Now on his 28th birthday, another of his latest rap ‘Sky High’ has been released.

Asim has featured in various TV commercials of various brands. And, one of the most well-known ones is his TV advertisement with Shah Rukh Khan. This was revealed when fans spotted him in a soap commercial starring Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. Asim played a background artist in the ad.

Asim also played a small role beside Varun Dhawan in his movie Main Tera Hero. While the movie was released in 2014, a video of his fight sequence went viral in 2020 ahead of Bigg Boss 13 finale which didn’t go unnoticed by Asim’s fans. They couldn’t stop gushing over their favourite Bigg Boss contestant soon after that.

The Bigg Boss 13 runner up owns the luxurious limited edition BMW 5 series sports car, which as stated by him is his 'dream car'. Meanwhile, Asim is also the proud owner of a plush sea-facing flat in Mumbai.

In November 2020, Asim was seen hanging out with International rapper DJ Snake. Their pictures went viral on social media and the former’s fans were taken by surprise. Moreover, Asim’s chat with Jacquline Fernandes revealed that he would be collaborating with the rapper ‘very soon’. For those who are unknown, the actor has a knack for rapping and showed his rap skills during his Bigg Boss stint.

Asim featured in a music video ‘Mere Angne Mein’ opposite Bollywood actress Jacquline Fernandes early in March 2020. Recently, in April 2021, there was a buzz that he had signed up for a commercial with Disha Patani.

Sometime back, there was a buzz that Asim has been offered a role in Salman Khan’s upcoming movie. However, there is no official confirmation about Asim’s part in the movie, as of now.

Asim started dating Himanshi Khurana soon after their Bigg Boss 13 stint. The couple is in a long-distance relationship and the two are currently focusing on their careers. However, in one of her interviews, the Punjabi singer revealed that Asim shares a great bond with her mother. Moreover, both of them have developed a good bonding with each other’s families and are often seen spending time with them too.
