From Tejasswi Prakash in Naagin 6 to Sumbul Touqeer in Imlie; These leading actresses are shown to be expecting on TV

The recent tracks on Indian TV seem to have focused on pregnancy, so much so that fans discuss if ‘mass pregnancy’ is happening. About 11 shows have the leading ladies expecting on TV. Tejasswi Prakash, Sumbul Touqeer, Riya Sharma and other are shown to be expecting. Take a look:

The promo gave a glimpse of Tejasswi aka Pratha being back-stabbed by husband Rishab and her own sister Mahek. A heavily pregnant Pratha ends up in jail crying, ‘Mera bachha’.

In Imlie too, promo of Imlie (Sumbul Touqeer) being pregnant is shown. While it is a dream sequence or for real, is not known yet, the pregnancy news will bring immense joy to Aryan Singh Rathore (Fahmaan Khan). Howver, Jyoti will try to end Imlie’s pregnancy.

One of the top shows - Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin is showing Ayesha Singh aka Sai’s pregnancy track. The makers recently showed a promo, where Virat (Neil Bhatt) comes to arrest Sai but is shocked to find out that his wife is pregnant.

In Kashibai Bajirao Ballal, Riya Sharma’s character Kashibai is shown to be pregnant. Rohit Chandel plays the role of Baji Rao in the show.

New TV show ‘Muskuraane Ki Vajah Tum Ho’ revolves around the lives of Katha (Tanvi Malhara) and a suave businessman, Kabir (Kunal Jaisingh). While Katha is an optimistic and confident girl who works for a NGO, she gets untimely pregnant but in spite of the resistance by her mother Katha is adamant and she decides to keep and raise the child by herself going against societal norms.

It is Jasmine (Isha Malviya) who is pregnant. She will tell Fateh (Ankit Gupta) that she is expecting. But it is shown that Fateh is not the father of the baby.

Good news for all #PranBir fans as Mugdha Chaphekar aka Prachi is shown to be pregnant. Fans can expect some romantic and cute moments between Prachi and Ranbir (Krishna Kaul).

We are not talking about Anupamaa taking the natural course to motherhood, but the makers have hinted towards Anupamaa and Anuj’s inclination to have a baby. The makers recently introduced a baby girl name Anu, who they meet at an orphanage. Looks like Anuj and Anupamaa will adopt a girl to complete their family.

In Pandya Store, Rishita (Simran Budharup) is shown to be pregnant but Dev is not keen about her baby. Rishita returns home and she decides not to abort her baby.

In Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, it is shown that Gehna (Sneha Jain) is expecting her first child with Anant Desai (Harsh Nagar).

Telly actress Ashi Singh is show to be expecting in her show Meet – Badlegi Duniya Ki Reet. The show features Shagun Sharma, who also plays the role of Meet.
