From Monaz Mevawalla to Sachin Shroff: TV celebs who got trolled for replacing popular Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actors

Monaz Mevawalla recently joined the cast of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah to play the role of Roshan Singh Sodhi. The actress is being trolled and compared to the previous Roshan, Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal. Similarly, many Taarak actors have been trolled over the years for replacing popular stars. The list includes Nitish Bhaluni, Sachin Shroff and others. Here’s a look.

Sachin, who was previously seen on Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar replaced Shailesh Lodha for the role of Taarak Mehta. It took netizens a long time to accept him as Taarak, after Shaliesh Lodha left the show. Shailesh was a part of the show for more than a decade. However, due to some creative differences and monetary issues, he left the show midway. According to reports, Shailesh wasn’t quite happy with his contract with the show and wanted better opportunities.

Monaz recently replaced Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal for the role of Roshan Singh Sodhi in the comedy sitcom. However, the actress has been receiving negative feedback from the audience and they are demanding to brink back the old Roshan. They even called her out her “overacting” in the show. Jennifer aka the OG Roshan entertained fans with her performance in the show for over 15 years.

Raj Anandkat is another popular Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor, who got replaced. He was replaced by Nitish Bhaluni, who is currently playing the role of Tapu. Till date, the actor gets trolled and compared to Raj. He (Raj) made an official announcement about his exit through social media. In the post, he confirmed that he is no longer associated to the TV show and wants to thank everyone for all the love and support.

Sunayana plays the role of Anjali Taarak Mehta in the show at the moment. She replaced the OG Anjali Taarak Mehta, who was a part of the show ever since the start. Sunayana, is another Taarak actor, who was brutally trolled after she replaced the popular actor (Neha) of the show.

Palak Sindhwani replaced Nidhi Bhanushali for the role of Sonu Bhide. Nidhi, who was a part of the show for over 6 years left the show midway for her higher education. The role was taken over by Palak. She received immense trolling and judgements in the start, however, netizens have now accepted her for role.

Monika Bhadoriya played Bawri for over six years and gave a lot of entertainment to the show. However, she was later replaced by Navina, who is currently playing the role of Bawri. Monika left the show due to alleged mistreatment, monetary issues and more. She also made some serious allegations against the makers of the show.

Balvinder replaced Gurucharan Singh, who played the role of Sodhi since the start. Netizens had a mixed reaction for the actor when he entered the show as the new Sodhi. Gurucharan decided to leave the show due to his dad’s health issues. The actor decided to leave the show and give time to his dad as he had many heath issues. There were also reports of the actor having issues with the production house but he never confirmed it.
