From Manisha Rani working as a waitress to Palak Purswani's breakup with Avinash Sachdev; When Bigg Boss OTT 2's contestants opened up about their past

Bigg Boss OTT 2 has been unveiling some intense fights and emotional revelations. All the celebs had their share of struggles from the past. From Pooja Bhatt to Manisha Rani take a look at what the Bigg Boss OTT 2 contestants had to say:

Pooja shared with Bebika about her broken marriage and the reason was that she didn't want kids at that time. She shared, "I was married for almost 11 years then we decided that something is not right and it is not working out. We should not live a lie and it is not a dress rehearsal. You get one chance in life. He was part of the entertainment industry. He is a very good human being, he’s Capricorn and that’s why we got along very well." She further shared, "But I wasn’t ready to have kids at that point. I want kids and I love kids but at that point, I didn’t want kids. I couldn’t lie at the risk of never meeting somebody, I couldn’t lie. It’s fine but I cannot lie. When we start speaking a lie, Uske baad kya hota hai Na jhooth shuru hojaata hai, the blame game starts and I didn’t want that. Whatever was there bahut Accha tha.., jab tak tha. Till the time dignity was there we were together. Then we parted ways on a good note."

Pooja Bhatt opened up about quitting alcohol. While having a conversation with Bebika she shared, "I told Cyrus the other day about how I quit alcohol. It was a very simple thing. One day my father sent me a message, “I love you kid” and I replied to him, “I love you pops”. He then replied to me that if you genuinely love me then first start loving yourself because I live inside you.” That was like a wake-up call to me and after that, I did not touch alcohol ever. My point is whether he is physically around me or not if I’m there he’s here. That did it for me and love can move mountains. It healed my life. The next day I quit alcohol and it’s been six years now I’ve not touched it."

In a long conversation with Pooja Bhatt and Cyrus Broacha, Jad opened up about his childhood and struggles. He shared about the religious differences between his parents. His mother was Christian while my father was Muslim. He also spoke about meeting his mother after 17 years when she revealed that all these years she thought my father had come and he didn't want to meet her. Jad also spoke about growing up with his neighbour who ran a library and later went to Dubai for work. Jad also helped financially with his mother's treatment and paid her last respects.

While talking to Akanksha and Aaliya, Palak got candid about her relationship with Avinash. How they met and what she felt. She said, "We met through a common friend five years ago. She is also an actress. I'd just come out of a relationship, I'd broken up with someone four months ago. It was my habit to jump from one relationship to another because I was very dependent. I am a people's person and I wanted to get into a relationship. Our mutual friend introduced us to each other and he asked if I am Sindhi and Single. He then came up to me and asked what do you like eating and I replied Butter Chicken and he also loves it. There were too many similarities." She further added, "I had met a man after a long time who could take care of me. He was calm to my storm. He was everything that I wanted to settle for." Palak also added that her marriage was fixed but he cheated on her twice.

In one of the episodes, Aaliya opened up about how she fell in love with Nawaz, she said “His brother was his assistant back then. He used to live in Ekta Nagar then. I was living in a PG and got kicked out. So his brother told me to stay there for a few days. I wasn’t comfortable. I saw his photos first and I liked his eyes. His eyes are very sexy. Then we met and fell in love. Then we started living together. This has been our journey.” Cyrus then enquired about the second man in her life, Aaliya said, “The second man is an Italian and he is very beautiful. There is no doubt about it. So one of my friends used to like him and I told him that. At that time, there was nothing between us. So he said he liked my eyes and then we started talking. He is a software engineer. He gives you respect and love. He makes you feel protected and chivalrous. That’s why I came into this relationship openly after 19 years. I wasn’t scared.”

Manisha ran away from home when her father refused to let her learn to dance. She said, "When I ran from home, I went to Kolkata. I wanted to learn to dance and my father was not allowing me, So, I wrote a letter to my father and we ran away with a friend. I wrote to my dad, "Maaf kijiyega humko (please forgive me). I got into a train without a ticket. I was so fearless that I did not fear getting arrested, I will sit in the lockup for 2 hours. In fact, we would not even buy Rs 5 platform tickets in Kolkata. I stayed in a house that was in such a bad condition, I don't think today any of my family members would be able to live. The house was in a bad condition and had mosquitoes, and would not be able to sh** also because of the mosquitoes."

Manisha got candid about her struggles in Kolkata and how she managed to survive in those poor days, she said, "I didn't want to return home. I wanted to stay in Kolkata and survive at any cost. That was the time when I worked as a background dancer and waitress at weddings. I would wear a white shirt and black trousers and stand for 8 hours. We would see fancy food in front of us but we were not allowed to eat. I would stand for 8 hours as a waitress and stare at the delicious food. But I must tell you (Jitna bhi dhookh ho kam*** toh hum bachpan se the). We would sit down in turns and quickly taste some of the food items. I forget Kolkata because my journey started from there."

In the recent episode, Akanksha Puri finally got candid with Jad and shared about her break-up. She said, "I get a little scared of the consequences. I told you I had a past on this show itself. I was not the participant, somebody else was who I was with at that time and we never broke up. When he came on the show, he started liking someone from Day 1, we never had a closure. But obviously, there were some things that he said to demean me, and disrespect me, and a lot of things he said on national television which were really not good. Since that day, till today I've not been in a relationship because I get scared of relationships becoming an issue on television."
