Gufi Paintal

Popular TV actor Gufi Paintal who was known for his role of Shakuni Mama in 'Mahabharat' died on June 5. He passed away at the age of at 79. Gufi worked in both TV shows and movies. His popular work include 'Kanoon, 'Om Namah Shivay, 'Bahadur Shah Zafar', 'CID', 'Ssshhhh...Koi Hai, 'Dwarkadheesh Bhagwaan Shree Krishn', 'RadhaKrishn' and 'Jay Kaniya Lal Ki' among others. He made his film debut in 1975 with 'Rafoo Chakkar'. Later, the actor also appeared in films like 'Desh Pardesh, 'Dillagi', and 'Suhaag. He also directed a movie called 'Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu'.

Dinesh Phadnis

Dinesh, who was best known for his work in popular crime based show 'CID' breathed his last at the age of 57 on December 5. He was suffering from extensive liver damage and was even on a ventilator for a while. His 'CID' co-stars were present at his last rites to bid a final goodbye to their beloved artist. CID fans offered condolences on social media.

Vaibhavi Upadhyay

Vaibhavi Upadhyaya died on May 22 after she met with a car accident in Himachal Pradesh's Baniar. The actress was travelling along with her fiance, Jay Suresh Gandhi. She was only 32 when she passed away. Vaibhavi appeared in many TV shows but was best known for playing the role of Jasmine in the TV show 'Sarabhai vs Sarabhai'.

Aditya Singh Rajput

Aditya Singh Rajput, a contestant of Splitsvilla 9 was found dead under mysterious circumstances on May 22, 2023, at his residence in Andheri. He passed after he allegedly slipped and fell in the bathroom.

Nitesh Pandey

TV star Nitesh Pandey died at the age of 51 on May 23. He suffered a cardiac arrest. The actor was shooting in Igatpuri and was found dead in his hotel room. His last show was Anupamaa on Indian Television. His sudden demise came out as a big shock to his fans.
