Lekha Jambaulikar

When Prince asked about Lekha writing that she manifested her father's death, Lekha said, "Since childhood, my father used to get drunk and hit us brutally. There was a point where I prayed to god to either die or he dies so that we come out of this brutal situation." She further shared, "I was around 17/18 when I protected my mother from getting beaten. But he didn't stop and continued beating us. Till he was alive he was extremely abusive towards us. I remember I had told him that when I will get my first salary, I won't buy anything for him and that day when I got my first salary, he passed away."

Manpreet Kaur

Manpreet Kaur shared the most traumatic phase of her life, she said, "In 2013, I got kidnapped by a serial killer. He came as an auto driver, he poked screwdrivers in my body and punctured my lungs. More than 50 screwdrivers were punctured in my body and I hit that man with my pencil heel, but he still kept hitting me. When he thought I was dead, I had no sense to seek help but I crawled for a km and a family helped me. At the hospital, my parents were told that I won't come back alive after the operation."

Bhoomika Vasisht

Bhoomika opened up about her major struggle after Splitsvilla. She said, "After splits I went to the very dark phase of my life. I did some videos, but it wasn't intentional to overcome the desire. I took a loan and to fulfil it I did that. But someone leaked those videos that I made for money. It was supposed to be exclusive, I had to face my parents, the police, and myself which was extremely challenging for me. I fought back and I was able to get out of it."

5/7

Nayera Ahuja

Nayera has quit the television industry to help her family. She spoke about her childhood trauma, "When I was 4/5 years, there was a girl older than me, she used to make me play ghar-ghar with me and touch me in the wrong way which became a long trauma for me. People have traumatised me by calling me a man and my ex-boyfriend left me for the same reason."

Neerja Punia

Neerja is a transgender runway model. The Roadies contestant hails from Haryana. Neeraj transformed herself despite facing severe traumatic prejudices. She dreams to walk for Lakme Fashion Week and has turned the world into her ramp. Neerja revealed how people misinterpret her as a transwoman, says, "When they hear the word transgender, they compare us to sex workers or beggars. Only thing I wish is that my father should have supported me in my battle and understood me. I knows I have always loved him and I am still waiting for the day he completely supports me. I have overcome all those battles and now I am here making my future."

Shubham Choudhary

Shubham Choudhary is a deaf person. He shared his story, "I was often told since childhood that because I am deaf, I will not grow, I will have issues in life. There were many remedies tried to heal me but I am the way I am and I am proud of it. So like others, I can do everything. I am here to give it back to those who thought I cannot live a normal life. I haven't received formal education but I use my imagination as my power to communicate."
