From introducing 'ex-es' in the villa to Tanuj Virwani debuting as a host to the show; HowSplitsvilla15 is different from the other seasons

Splitsvilla 15: The dating reality show made a grand comeback a few weeks ago. Splitsvilla X5 is mesmerising viewers with an exciting journey. This much-awaited season is offering fans a rollercoaster ride of emotions, from love and friendships to challenges, betrayals, and drama. The participants, known as Splitsvillans, are winning hearts with their fun and charming personalities. Here’s a look at how this season has been different so far from the rest of the seasons.

Splitsvilla 15 is different from all the other seasons as this time, a concept of ‘ex-isle’ has been introduced to the contestants and the audiences. Ex- boyfriends and ex-girlfriends of several contestants have come up on the show to add more flavour. In the second episode of the show, they opened up about the reason for breakup with their exes.

Tanuj Virwani made his debut on reality show as a host with Splitsvilla 15 alongside Sunny Leone. The two have previously worked together for a Bollywood movie as well. Fans are loving and enjoying Tanuj on Splitsvilla 15 opposite Sunny Leone. He also opened up about being a part of the show in an exclusive interview in ETimes TV. He said, “You know, honestly, if you asked me six months back, I would never have even in a million years thought ki yaar mai kisi din host karunga because I don't have any prior experience of hosting. But when the makers got in touch with me and they said, hey, listen, they're seriously considering me to host Splitsvilla 15, I was like, okay, this could be interesting.”

Usually, the number of contestants of Splitsvilla vary from 18-22. However, this year’s Splitsvilla is also different as it has a total of 31 contestants this time. The list includes- Addy Jain, Adit Minocha, Akriti Negi, Ameha Gurung, Anicka Sharma, Aniket Lama Arbaz Patel, Ayushmaan Maggu, Devkaran Sharma, Dewangini Vyas, Harsh Arora, Jashwanth Bopanna Kashish Kapoor, Khanak Waghnani, Nidhi Goyal, Dr. Niharika "Arica" Porwal, Shobhika, Siwet Tomar, Yuvraj Bassi, Ishita Rawat, Deepika Sherpa, Digvijay Singh Rathee, Divyansh Pokharna, Lakshay, Nayera Ahuja, Daulat "Rahul" Raja, Rutu Thakur, Unnati Tomar.

Not one, two but seven Roadies contestants have participated in the show this time. The list includes- Nayera Ahuja, Siwet Tomar, Sachin Sharma, Akriti Negi, Jashwant Bopanna, Digvijay Singh Rathi and Addy Jain. While, Nayera, Sachin and Digvijay are in the ‘ex-isle,’ Addy, Jashwant, Siwet and Akriti are enjoying their time in Splitsvilla. The ex-isle contestants have been given several powers to decide the fate of the contestants from Splitsvilla 15.

While Uorfi also appeared as a secret mischief maker last year, what makes it different this time is how she has been hosting the contestants of ‘ex-isle.’ This time she has come up on the show with her mischief box that can change the dynamics of the show. With much more power and excitement, Uorfi has been winning hearts of many.

Splitsvilla gets its first ideal match after a few dome sessions. However, this time the show got its first ideal match in the first dome session. Harsh and Rushali, who made a bond on the very first day of the show, performed and won the first-ever task. They then pitched in to the contestants to give them their votes. They later went in-front of the oracle and got to know that they are an ideal match.
