Sachin Shroff, who debuted with TV show Kammal, has come a long way. The latest is that he is all set to replace Shailesh Lodha in the sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. On the personal front, the actor is now on cordial terms with his ex-wife Juhi Parmar and loves to spend his free time with daughter Samaira who's growing up fast. Sachin met Juhi on the sets of a TV show where they exchanged numbers and later kept in touch by texting each other. Even though the TV show didn't go on air, their love life took off. The two over a span of a few years kept in touch and eventually decided to get maried.

Sachin married Juhi in on 15 February, 2009 at a palace in Jaipur after dating for a long time. The couple has a daughter, Samaira Shroff, who was born on 27 January 2013.

It was in January, 2018, that Juhi put all speculations of trouble in her marriage to rest by announcing her divorce with Sachin. In an interview with BT, Sachin said, "The divorce happened with mutual consent, amicably and in a dignified manner. Unfortunately, and by Juhi’s own public admission, she was never in love with me. One-sided relationships are doomed from the beginning. It’s said, 'It’s better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all'. But the fact is that it hurts to have been in a loveless marriage. Nothing I did could make Juhi love me."

The actor is now on cordial terms with Juhi. The two also wish each other on social media on birthdays. Samaira is also seen hanging out with her father quite often. The couple seems to have made peace with their past and has moved on for good.

Sachin has long been a part of the television industry. He has been seen in popular shows like Balika Vadhu, Rishton Ke Bhanwar Mein Uljhi Niyati, Baal Krishna and Paramavatar Shri Krishna among several others.

The actor was seen as Rajeev in the hit TV show, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. Talking about his role in the show, the actor had told IANS in April, "Rajeev is a very cheerful, energetic individual who enjoys spreading happiness. He keeps a happy face and enjoys making people smile. I'm enjoying playing the character. I'm putting extra effort and energy to make the role more lively. It's a completely new and fresh experience for me." However, he quit the show in a few months.

Sachin has apparently replaced Shailesh Lodha as Taarak Mehta in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Sources close to the show informed ETimes TV that popular actor Sachin Shroff has been roped in to play the role of Taarak Mehta and that he has already shot for two days.
