From dropping out of school to unveiling the reality of 90s actresses; Major revelations made by Pooja Bhatt in Bigg Boss OTT 2

Pooja Bhatt's stay in the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house has been quite an interesting one. Though Bigg Boss and housemates call her 'Gyaani', the actress surely deserves the tag with major revelations that she made about her personal life and experiences in the house. Take a look at everything that she has shared till now inside BB house.

Within the first week of the show itself, Pooja dropped a major bomb on her personal life. She revealed about her alcohol habit and how she quit it. Pooja said, "I told Cyrus the other day about how I quit alcohol. It was a very simple thing. One day my father sent me a message, “I love you kid” and I replied to him, “I love you pops”. He then replied to me that if you genuinely love me then first start loving yourself because I live inside you.” That was like a wake-up call to me and after that, I did not touch alcohol ever. My point is whether he is physically around me or not if I’m there he’s here. That did it for me and love can move mountains. It healed my life. The next day I quit alcohol and it’s been six years now I’ve not touched it."

Pooja was married to VJ and Restaurant owner Manish Makhija. She shared, "I was married for almost 11 years then we decided that something is not right and it is not working out. We should not live a lie and it is not a dress rehearsal. You get one chance in life. He was part of the entertainment industry. He is a very good human being, he’s Capricorn and that’s why we got along very well."

While having a candid conversation with Bebika, Pooja opened up on why she never had kids, she said, "They are very practical in life and nobody can be a better father than them." Pooja added, "But I wasn’t ready to have kids at that point. I want kids and I love kids but at that point, I didn’t want kids. I couldn’t lie at the risk of never meeting somebody, I couldn’t lie. It’s fine but I cannot lie."

Pooja then shared about their separation, "When we start speaking a lie, Uske baad kya hota hai Na jhooth shuru hojaata hai, the blame game starts and I didn’t want that. Whatever was there bahut accha tha.., jab tak tha. Till the time dignity was there we were together. Then we parted ways on a good note." For the unversed, Pooja Bhatt and Manish Makhija parted ways in 2014.

While Elvish and Abhishek discussed that they had never watched Pooja's films she shared an anecdote with them, "It is completely fine if you haven't watched it. This generation doesn't know me much. I remember once at the airport a mother and daughter came running to me when the mother wanted to click a picture with me and the daughter was least interested. When the daughter asked her who I was, her mother called me Alia Bhatt of the 90s, it was a proud moment."

Pooja Bhatt made a shocking revelation about her educational qualifications, she revealed that her father and she are school dropouts. Pooja quipped, "I remember it was my last HSC board exam and I didn't write the exam and came home. When my mother asked me about my paper I said I didn't write it. She was shocked and angry about it but I said that I didn't feel like writing the exam so I didn't attempt it."

Pooja Bhatt shared that she was set to debut as the lead in the iconic film Aashiqui but her then-boyfriend didn't want to marry an actress so she dropped her acting dream for him at that time. However, they parted ways and her career took off with Daddy and then Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahi.

Pooja opened up about how actresses in the 90s were restricted from talking about their relationships. She revealed, "In the 90s actresses were told not to talk about their affairs. They were allowed to talk about everything else but not about their love lives. But I was always open about my boyfriends. Mera funda simple tha... jab mere maa baap ko pata hai, toh kisi se kya darna."
