From celebrating their first Eid Al Adha to Joy's Annaprashan ceremony; Devoleena Bhattacharjee shares a glimpse of their multi-cultural celebrations

Devoleena Bhattacharjee and Shanawaz Shaikh recently hosted an intimate celebration for their little son Joy's Annaprashan. The duo now took to their vlog sharing how they celebrated little Joy's first Eid Al Adha and Annaprashan. From preparations for Joy's first Eid to his Annaprashan with their family and close friends.

Devoleena and Shanawaz shared how this Eid is extremely special for them. However, the celebrations are a little different, Devoleena shared, "My baby only eats vegetarian food so this Eid, we will make sweets but there will be a vegetarian meal."

Devoleena shared how she takes care of all the needs of her little munchkin. She prepares all the meals for Joy by herself and makes sure that he follows a healthy diet and also takes care of his meal and milk timings. Devoleena said, "Even during the festive days I am going to make my baby's meals and my cook will prepare the dishes for the guests."

For Joy's Annaprashan, Devoleena and Shanawaz went all out with decorating their living room with balloons. The duo revealed how they did all the preparations at night and got extremely tired. Though, they were extremely excited for the day and made sure everything happened smoothly.

Devoleena and her family members gathered for the auspicious moment as they performed Joy's Annaprashan snaan. The little baby was enjoying in his little tub as the family members bathe him with panchamrit. They even decorated the tub with rose petals and in the end, they did 'doodh snaan' for the little boy before dressing him up in the traditional outfit for the ceremony.

Devoleena's best friends Vishal Singh and Bhavini Purohit were also a part of the celebration. Not as guests but as family members they began to help Devoleena in the kitchen to prepare the meal. Vishal was seen making puris while Bhavini quickly handled the rest.

Devoleena took to her Instagram handle sharing glimpses from the ceremony and how they celebrated this happy moment together. She wrote, "With folded hands and hearts full of gratitude, we celebrated our beloved son’s Annaprashan, Joy’s first sacred taste of Anna (rice) May Maa Annapurna bless him with health, wisdom, and a life full of abundance. A beautiful milestone for the lifetime."
