From cancelling Tesla's purchase to undergoing surgery; Here's what Anupam Mittal has been upto post Shark Tank India

Anupam Mittal has been in the headlines even after the second season of Shark Tank India wrapped up. The Shark recently reacted to the Blue tick controversy and decided to shelve his pre-ordered Tesla after losing the verification badge on Twitter. Right after the show ended, Anupam underwent surgery. Take a look at everything the Shark has been in the news for:

Anupam Mittal expressed his displeasure towards Twitter taking away his verification badge. Recently, Elon Musk shared that he would turn the verification/ blue tick on a subscription basis. Anupam shared, "Am cancelling my planned purchase of a Tesla … ticked off" The former shark was quite angry at losing his verification badge.

Anupam recently talked about the rumours he had been listening to about him producing the show Shark Tank India. The shark shared, "People have often thought that I have produced the show and many people have requested me to take them on the show. And used to be like arey I don’t know myself if they would take me in the show and how would I take you in it. But I guess it's all about personality."

He added, "I am not a very technical person nor am I an engineer, I will understand things if someone explains them to me as if I am an eight-year-old kid. First I get all things to basics so that it gets simplified for me, if you have used fancy words to explain it then even the audience comes in understanding the information. So maybe because of that people thought I am a producer of the show but that’s not the case and I had so much fun."

In a podcast, Anupam revealed that he makes sure to keep a tab on what his invested companies are doing. He revealed, "People do ask but see it is still very early, the show got over in February and we finished the shooting in December and now it's August so 7 to 8 months have gone by till now so it will definitely take time. There are 3 to 4 companies and there is one company which I met yesterday and I am also raising some more money for them. Their sales were 7 lakhs when they arrived at Shark Tank, the popsicle company."

He added, "In April they did 2 crores that is just in 6 months. Therefore, the publicity people have got from the show has changed the game. And I know 4 to 5 companies whose sales went from 5x to 10x after coming on the show. But the most important thing is how to sustain the profits and the market. The value of Shark Tank will stay for 5 to 6 months but after that to keep the business sustainable that is all up to you."

Anupam Mittal underwent surgery recently, the shark shared a picture from the hospital with the fans in a post and captioned it, "Manzil jab aur dur ho jaaye … fight harder. Been pushing to get into better shape for years but like everything else worth pursuing, every time you feel you are almost there, life seems to send you right back to square one. Ain’t nothing we can do about the setbacks & knockouts, but what we CAN do is rise again."

Anupam is unstoppable when it comes to his dedication towards work. Anupam was spotted with a support band as he attended public events. While addressing the crowd, Anupam revealed that he broke his left arm which was severe so he had to undergo surgery, however now he is back and better than before.

After the show wrapped, Anupam shared a nostalgic post from his last day of the show. He mentioned that they are eagerly waiting for the next season of the show. Also, Shark Tank India's fans demanded Anupam bring the upcoming season soon as they can't wait to have the sharks back.
