Shagun Pandey admits he was shocked to know that his show 'Shubharambh' was going off air. The actor was enjoying playing his character and when he was told about the show coming to an end, he says that it felt devastating. In a chat, the actor talks about his experience on the show and how much he was enjoying working post lockdown.
Shagun says, “I loved the vibe on our sets. Going to work again post lockdown felt so good. So, I was shocked when I heard that 'Shubharambh' was going to be axed. That gave way to sadness. I will miss being on sets, delivering all those intense scenes along with
Mahima Makwana. I had most scenes with her character, Rani. Also, as an artist, I know that a show holds longevity depending on viewership. I feel bad about it, but shall keep learning from all my experiences in the industry.”
He adds, “I had a pleasant experience as an artist on the sets of 'Shubhaarambh'. I have always wanted to strike a chord with viewers by performing to the best of my capabilities. This show gave me that chance, for which I am grateful. My character (Mihir Doshi) was amazing and meaty. He was beautifully scripted as a stoic individual with a lot of focus and shades of grey.”
