Exclusive - Neetu Kapoor on doing Dance Deewane Juniors: Ranbir motivated me to take up work after Rishi ji passed away

Legendary actress Neetu Kapoor is all set to mark her television debut as a judge with Dance Deewane Juniors. The actress is very excited about her new innings and recently joined ETimes TV for an exclusive chat where she opened up about how son Ranbir Kapoor motivated her to take up work after husband Rishi Kapoor passed away. She also talked about her experience on the show with co-judges Nora Fatehi and Marzi Pestonji. While, Neetu ji refrained from confirming the dates of her son Ranbir and Alia Bhatt's much talked about wedding, she shared that she hopes it happens soon. (PC - Instagram)

It’s a very different platform for me because everything is live, everything is extempore. In movies there’s a script, you know what to do, you rehearse for it, then you give it a shot, so the experience is different. But Television is a new experience and I am enjoying it. There are kids on the show, dance is there, there’s so much talent in the country and the kids are amazing in the show. They are totally outstanding. (PC - Instagram)

Yes, it’s quite ironical. His (Rishi ji) journey came to an end and my journey has started. But yes life is to move on right. You have to move on, you have to be happy and that’s what it is. It’s just fun on the sets, bahut masti hoti hai sets par. With Nora, Marzi, Karan and the kids, we are just laughing all day. It’s just too much fun all day. We give all the dirty job of saying no to the kids all day. We tell Marzi you say it. Because even Nora is soft hearted, I am also soft hearted so Marzi handles it very well. He (Ranbir) was the one who told me when my husband passed away that mom you should do something. And get on with your life. Then whatever came to me if I liked it I accepted it. I am happy I did it because it is giving me lots of confidence and I am feeling better. I needed this. (PC- Instagram)

I know main bhi sun rahi hoon alag alag dates… ye joh aap badhaiyaan… I am getting these from last one year. Abhi last December aa rahi thi… and there were reports kuch Ranthambore mein ho raha hai.. then they said that the wedding is happening in Hyderabad.
