Every year, October 10 is celebrated as World Mental Health Day. The overall goal of World Mental Health Day is to raise global awareness of mental health concerns and organize initiatives in favour of mental health. The Day allows all stakeholders working on mental health issues to discuss their work and what more needs to be done to make mental health care a reality for people all around the world.
Many actors have time and again opened up about mental health. They have spoken about battling depression, anxiety and many other mental health issues and spread awareness through their posts.
Now, talking about the day, Karanvir Bohra, who is currently reprising his character of Viral Dobriyal in Saubhagyavati Bhava: Niyam Aur Shartein Laagu, exclusively shared with ETimes TV, "We all go through, through some trauma that affects our mental health, but we need to realise that life is all about chances, we have to gear up the strength to let that weak moment pass and see how life offers 2nd chances and 3rd chances and sometimes even more, so get up and start walking again."
The actor is currently garnering a lot of praise for his character. Karanvir recently shared his take on being compared to 'Joker' played by Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight. He shared his admiration for the actor and praised him for his exceptional acting skills.
Karanvir quipped, “I am grateful for the comparison, but there is no comparison in our acting. Heath Ledger was a phenomenal actor, and it takes time and consistent effort to reach the level of skill and artistry that he showcased. He was an extraordinary talent, and his portrayal in the movie as Joker was nothing short of brilliance. Although I’m overwhelmed that the viewers are comparing my character Viraj Dobriyal with Heath Ledger’s Joker I’m still working hard and constantly trying to improve my craft and evolve as an actor each day and reach the level of brilliance as Heath Ledger."
