Recently, Yamini participated in Bigg Boss 18, where she impressed the audience with her wit and charm. However, days after revealing that she is struggling to find a house in Mumbai due to her profession, she has now shared that the struggle is still ongoing.

Recently, Yamini spoke about encountering landlords in Mumbai who make unfair assumptions about actors. She shared shocking details, revealing that many believe actors consume drugs and party excessively. She also mentioned how some people fear renting to actors, assuming they might take extreme steps when struggling with mental pressure.

"During my house-hunting journey, I have come across many brokers and homeowners who hold preconceived notions about actors. They assume that actors are into drugs and partying, that they are irresponsible with rent payments, and that they often struggle with mental health issues, leading to extreme actions. I want to change this perception," she said.

Yamini emphasized her desire to challenge these stereotypes. "While unfortunate incidents involving some individuals do happen, they represent only a small fraction—about 5%. The remaining 95% of actors are hardworking, dedicated, and deeply passionate about their craft. They work tirelessly to entertain people and contribute positively to the industry," she added.

Hoping for people to look beyond stereotypes, Yamini concluded by saying, "For me, Mumbai is my Karma Bhoomi—a place where I come to work, grow, and fulfill my dreams. I am here to create, perform, and entertain, not to indulge in negative activities. It is unfair to judge an entire community based on a few negative examples. I hope people recognize the dedication and effort that most actors put into their careers."
