Dipika Kakar cries as she cooks for the first time after her liver cancer surgery; says, “Aaj main itni thik hogayi hun”

The couple, who recently visited Shoaib’s hometown in Bhopal, are back in Mumbai and have renovated the living room of their house. Dipika and Shoaib went shopping before leaving for Mumbai. They bought items for their family members and shared a peek into their purchases. Shoaib expressed how much he enjoyed his time in his hometown and said he wishes to revisit soon. Dipika agreed and promised to come back soon.

After spending some time in Shoaib’s hometown, the actor, along with wife Dipika Kakar and son Rehaan, returned to Mumbai. Dipika expressed how she enjoyed her best moments in the city and felt emotional about leaving. Later, the couple shared fun moments from their travel diaries. They traveled together by train and gave a glimpse of their adorable moments with their son Rehaan.

Dipika revealed that she had not been able to cook since undergoing surgery for liver cancer. She entered the kitchen for the first time post-surgery to prepare a meal for the entire family. She expressed her excitement, saying she loves cooking and always felt bad for not being able to do it. Finally being able to cook brought her immense joy.

Dipika broke down emotionally while talking about her health journey. She said, “Finally main itni thik hogayi hun ki cook kar pau. Aaj phir main chicken bana rahi hu puri family ke liye.” Shoaib then told her, “Haa, but ye roz-roz nahi chalega.” Dipika wiped her tears and said, “I can’t describe how happy I am today. The satisfaction I’m getting today is something I can’t explain because I was waiting for this day for a long time.”

Once the living room makeover was complete, Shoaib shared a quick glimpse of the new room, which looked like a dream. It had a white, beige, and golden aesthetic that appeared lavish and royal. Dipika and Shoaib shared that this makeover was something they had envisioned for a long time and were excited to finally accomplish.
