Sarabjit apologises to the principal for his mother-in-law's act but they don't pay heed to it. The school authorities showed him a newspaper article and say this is tarnishing their school's reputation. School staff says that Param's fault is that he is Kulwant Dhillon's grandson. Param is upset that he is not getting to go to school and asks Meher when can he go back. While Param is speaking with Meher, Harleen tells him that she will teach him but he insists he will only learn from Meher.
The principal warns Sarabjit to not use his political powers and try to get Param back to the school or else all the school staff will resign. Sarabjit joins hands and requests to take him to the school. Kulwant is asked to apologise from the school staff so that Yuvi and Param can go to school. Sarbjit enters and says that she will have to apologise for committing the mistake. Kulwant says that next morning she will go and apologise to the teacher she had slapped. She says that everything is fine in politics.
Param wants to sleep with Meher but Harleen asks her to not sleep with Meher because he is a strong boy. To prove that he is a strong boy, Harleen asks Param to sleep without his mother. Sarabjit asks Meher about Param and she says that he is sleeping with his bua. Sarbjit gets a cut in his hand while cutting an apple. Meher shows her concern and applies medicine on her hand.
Kulwant rehearses her apology letter where she also wishes everyone a Merry Christmas. Param chants Meher mumma's name in sleep and Meher feels it in the other room. They both get restless and Meher goes into Harleen's room and tells her that Param wakes up at least three times to go to the washroom. Harleen gets angry and says that even before she could come, she would take his care. Harleen says she made a mistake by getting a new mom for him.
