Since the beginning of reality TV show Bigg Boss, it has become a valuable source of entertainment for all. As Bigg Boss 12 heads towards its finale tonight tonight, here’s a quick recap and look at the past seasons of the reality show. Photo- Instagram.

Bigg Boss, based on the format of Big Brother, saw the light of day in India in 2006. It was aired from November 3, 2006 to 26 January 2007 and was hosted by Bollywood Actor Arshad Warsi. Bigg Boss 4 (2010): Salman Khan took over as the host and then there was no looking back. TV actress Shweta Tiwari emerged as the winner and earned Rs 10 million as her prize money. The Great Khali was the runner-up. Photo- Instrgam.

Bigg Boss 10

Bigg Boss invited commoners to its house. For the first time, two contestants Priyanka Jagga and Swami Om were thrown out of the house because of their unacceptable behaviour by Salman Khan. Commoner Manveer Gurjar was the winner of this season. Photo- Instagram.

12/13

BB 11

Bigg Boss 11: The show was touted to be the most entertaining and the highest TRP season of Bigg Boss' history. Shilpa Shinde, Hina Khan, Vikas Gupta, Puneesh Sharma, Bandgi Kalra, Priyank Sharma, Arshi Khan , Sapna Chaudhary made sure to entertain audiences with their constant fights, evil nok-jhoks, and also their fun antics. The season was won by Shilpa Shinde. Photo- Instagram.

BB 12

Bigg Boss 12: The 12th season of Bigg Boss sadly could not match up to the expectations set by BB12. Despite popular celebs, the show looked quite rigged as housemates' reaction to things looked more of TRP oriented rather than natural. Sreesaanth, Dipika Kakar, Karanvir Bohra, Deepak Thakur, Romil Chaudhary, Surbi Rana and others did their best to boost the show's entertainment quotient but in vain. The finale that airs tonight shall declare the winner of the season. Photo- Instagram.
