Yamini Malhotra is well known for her part in the hit television series Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, where she played Shivani Chavan; however, she left the program. Tanvi Thakkar eventually replaced her in the post. This marks her return to Hindi television after nearly three years away.

Yamini is an actress who previously worked as a dentist. She's also an influencer. Yamini appeared in a number of commercial spots for businesses prior to her acting career. She also appeared in various Punjabi songs and the episodic Aashiqui 2.

Yamini survived a catastrophic accident in August 2021 after an unexpected fire broke out. Fortunately, she escaped unscathed. While exclusively talking to BT, Yamini had shared, “I went out for a drive to Juhu after which I headed to Lokhandwala. I had even posted some fun pictures about it on my Instagram account. In fact, my last story on Instagram has me sitting in the trunk of my car. But as soon as I got back at the steering wheel, I saw fire coming out of the bonnet. I immediately stepped out of the car and before I could even try and figure out what was happening, the fire spread and engulfed the car.”

She added how she escaped from the accident, “I was in shock because of the way things unfolded so quickly. Some quick-thinking passers-by gathered to help and called the fire brigade and the police. By the time the fire brigade could reach the spot, the car was gutted. I was completely shaken. I kept crying and watched helplessly as the flames engulfed my car. I couldn’t do anything to save it. All I could think of was what if I was locked inside the car and couldn’t be saved? I shuddered at the mere thought.”

Yamini has a large social media following, with 1 million on Instagram. She also has a YouTube channel called Yamini Malhotra's World, which she started in 2011 and now has 76.3K subscribers.

Malhotra's net worth is estimated to be approximately 4 crores, owing to her successful careers in acting and dentistry. In addition, she makes money from social media and advertising.
