On April 27, the actress took to her Instagram Stories and reposted a video originally shared by a user named Sai Lohith. The video criticised the actress for her fashion choice at the event. Rupali did not write anything while sharing the video, but her decision to share the clip quickly caught attention.

The video questioned Alia’s outfit from Milan Fashion Week, where she attended as a brand ambassador for a popular brand. It alleged that the look involved leather sourced from young animals, specifically mentioning “3-month-old baby calves and 4-month-old baby lambs.”

The speaker in the video directly addressed the actress, asking, “Is this what you support Alia? Your cat, Edward, how would you feel if someone murdered your son and used his skin to make bags and shoes?”

The video went on to accuse the brand of “exploiting snakes, crocodiles, silkworms, cows, sheep, and goats.” Meanwhile, actor Smriti Khanna also reacted to the video in the comments section.
