Ankit Gera to enter Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke

He’ got the look and he has the attitude. Now, he will soon come in as a breath of fresh air in Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke.
There has been a lot of emotional upheaval on the show so far following Sneha’s death and with Gunjan moving to Varanasi and feeling betrayed by her father who prefers to leave her with her maasi. Here’s where Ankit Gera will enter the show as Mayank, Rachna’s (Mahima Makwana) first cousin and Gunjan’s (Roopal Tyagi’s) love interest.
Mayank will be seen as an arrogant young man whose world starts and ends with him. Three words that best describe him are – I, Me, and Myself. He is not too attached to his family, believes he is a prince and is a typical mama’s boy. Ankit who has already started shooting says, “The character of Mayank is flamboyant to the core. Even if he has to glance at someone, he will add oodles of attitude in his glare. And, if you take the attitude away from Mayank you will get me, the real Ankit Gera. I wear the same kind of clothes, relate to every other facet of Mayank’s personality and also have a doting mother who makes me feel like a prince when I am at home. So, you can say that I am playing myself in the show but with loads of attitude. Viewers have seen me earlier as a down to earth guy and hence I did not bat an eyelid accepting this offer as I wanted to do something completely different.”
In the episodes to come, viewers will see a love - hate relationship brewing between Gunjan and Mayank. There’ll be times when she’ll find him amusing and irritating and at times, plain stupid. The ego clashes, difference of opinions and petty fights will drift them apart. Will their fights draw them closer towards each the other. Will they fall in love? Your guess is as good as ours.
